With this optional upgrade you can adjust the brightness of the lights, and turn them off when required
Night Operations
With this optional upgrade, you can switch your lights over to run on mains power at night.
Night operations requires a standard 240-volt powerpoint in the roof space. If you do not have an available powerpoint, you will need an electrician to install one for you
Tiltable Frame
The optional tiltable frame is a good option if you need to adjust the angle of the solar panel on your roof to achieve the best sun exposure

How much light do they produce?

Do they work in winter/cloudy weather?
Yes, Solar Whiz Lights work in all weather conditions.
Without dimmers or night ops, the lights will reflect the solar conditions outside, similar to a conventional skylight.
Dimmers and night ops give you the option to override this natural fluctuation in brightness.
Will they make my house hotter?
No, unlike conventional skylights, Solar Whiz Lights use LEDs that do not transfer any heat inside the house.
How long do they last?
The estimated life expectancy on our lights is about 30,000 hours.Depending on usage we estimate this to be about 7-10 years of normal use.
The solar panel has a life expectancy of about 20 years.
You are able to add/replace the lights in your system without replacing the solar panel
What kind of roof can these be installed on?
Solar Whiz Lights can be installed on any kind of roof.
The kits come with instructions for either metal or tile roofs

When will I get my order?

Solar Whiz LightsSolar LED lights are designed and developed in Australia byGlobal Eco & Environmental Solutions(GES Pty Ltd). SLW orders are put together on our premises with parts made here as well as parts manufactured in cooperation with our Chinese partners.
